It seems like just yesterday I was feeling the flutters of kicks in my belly and anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first sweet little boy! It has now been almost 8 months and the time seems to just be flying!!!!! We have been so busy since Laine has been born. I was hoping for it to slow down but I think it has been in fast forward and I would love it to just be paused!

We took Laine to Disney this summer for his first trip! A sweet friend of mine got married and we decided to make a vacation out of it, hello you can't go to orlando and not make a trip to Disney! Despite the crowds and heat we had a blast with my parents and sister! Laine even got his first pair of mickey ears!

Zac has been working crazy hours lately and I feel like I have barely seen him. After we got back from Disney, Laine and I went to stay with my parents for a week to visit with them and see some friends I don't get to always see when we come into town. Even though we spent a week there it still didn't seem like enough time to see everyone. So since I have been back, Zac has either been working late or working out of town....which I am used to working late but not the working out of town. It has been 2 weeks now that he has had to spend a Tues-Thurs in Corsicana. I am so tired of not having him around I miss him like crazy. I know Laine misses him too! I will be so happy when he is done with that job!!

We also just hit our 2 year Anniversary on the 30th! I can't believe it has already been 2 years since I walked down the aisle and said "i do" to my best friend!!! So much as changed in the 2 years, now we are a family of 3! We can't even imagine what life was like before God blessed us with him! I look forward to spending many more years with Zac, Laine and our future children!!!!

I am sure this wasn't the most interesting blog, but I thought I would update everyone on what has been going on! I am really going to try and start blogging more! I have missed it!

it's been a while

since I have blogged! A lot has changed leaving me less time to blog about our family! Well Laine decided to bless us with his presence January 4, 2010! I thought he was never going to get here! I had to finally be induced on the 3rd and after a long and some what scary delivery he decided to meet us the next morning! He has forever changed our lives and we are so blessed to have him in our lives! He is just so sweet and perfect! He changes every day and is growing so fast! Everyone always says, "they grow up fast"...but you never really believe it until they are yours.

Sunday on Easter! He now weighs 12.13lbs, he is learning to push up and hold his head up more and loves to "talk" to us and tell us all about it! He truly does amaze us every day! I am looking forward to watching him grow every day and learn all the fun things he is going to teach us!

So this past Wednesday, Zac and I had our 3d sonogram to look at Laine! I was really excited about this and and couldn't wait to see what he looks like! I should have known to prepare myself that it might not work so well. Apparently our lil boy doesn't like to put on a show and doesn't like pictures! Besides a ton of umbilical cord being in his face he kept putting his hands and arms in his face too! Don't get me wrong it was adorable to see him rubbing his eyes and moving, but I really wanted to see a clearer pic of him! I guess we will just have to wait till he is ready to grace us with his presence! He is still measuring a week early so maybe he will come early, but I am not getting my hopes up since he can be stubborn! I guess he gets that from his mamma! I can't believe I am already in the 3rd and final trimester and 7 month! I can't wait to paint his room and get it all ready for him! We just got his bedding in and will be getting his crib in Nov! Our next appt is Nov. 6 and then we start going every 2 weeks and then every week! HOW EXCITING!! We can't wait to meet our precious lil Laine!!!!!

A Wonderful Year!

WOW, I can't believe we have already been married a year and have our first lil one on the way! Time really does fly by when you are having fun!! To celebrate our one year anniversary we went to Las Colinas and stayed at the Omni Mandalay, it was so pretty!! Zac surprised me with a mommy to be massage for Saturday and it was perfect! He really is the perfect man for me! We had such a good time just relaxing and enjoying our time together before Laine gets here! On Sunday, our actual anniversary we went to the Dallas Aquarium and registered for more stuff for Laine! When we got back to Granbury his parents were still in town from an auction they were at so we had dinner with them and then came home and ate our One Year old cake! It really wasn't all that bad! I am so blessed and thankful that God put Zac in my life! I don't know what I would do without him! Now we are just waiting till Dec/Jan for our sweet lil boy here!!!

So just to give whoever reads our blog an update on what is new with us! I am going on my 18 week of pregnancy and can't wait to start feeling our lil one kick more! There are times I think I can feel him/her in there but I haven't felt a full blown out kick yet! This is a pic from our 13 week appointment, the pics from our 17 week one didn't turn out as good. We tried to find out the sex early while we had our 17 week appointment but baby Webb decided to be modest! So hopefully we will be able to see next time on Aug 17! I am so ready to find out what our lil one is! Our dr. did think what she saw was boy parts but she couldn't say 100% since she couldn't get a good angle and our lil ones feet were perfectly crossed! I also took my first belly picture a couple weeks ago when I was 16 weeks. I am going to start trying to take a pic each week since I am starting to show now! I have loved every moment of this pregnancy...even the bad parts of nausea! It is such a miracle and blessing to have a child growing inside of you that you and your hubby made along with God! We are so blessed and thankful and can't wait to meet our lil one in Januray!!!!

Oh Baby!

So I haven't been on here in a loong time! I guess you could say we have been pretty busy and a lot has happened!!!! It seems like we haven't had a free weekend in forever, whether it be a wedding, a baby shower or just anything we have had planned.

In April I had a minor procedure done and everything came back perfectly fine, so I am very thankful for that! A few days later we found out that we were blessed with the BEST gift ever from God, a lil baby!!!! I could not believe my eyes when I saw the two pink lines and and the word pregnant on the digital test! Of course I had to take like 5 tests just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I went to the Dr. later that week to have the blood test to really know from the Dr. if it was all true. It may sound funny but when you want something so bad and then by surprise it happens you just feel like you have to be 150% positive! So we got the results of the blood work and my Dr. said that all my levels were awesome and that it was true in deed that Zac and I are going to have a baby.

Last Friday we finally had our first OB appointment, it felt like the longest 5 weeks ever! The experience of seeing our lil baby and hearing the heartbeat for the first time was so amazing, I really thought I was going to cry, but I was just so excited and couldn't stop smiling! I am about 10 weeks along now and the baby is healthy and growing fast! I can't wait for our next appointment which is June 26. The Dr. said we could look at the baby again since the baby would be bigger, my Dr. likes to do a lot of sonograms for fun if the office isn't busy! I would post the pics from my ultrasound but my scanner is not working. I also have 2 sorority sisters that are due a month before me so that is really exciting! One of my lil sis's just had her first lil girl, Karahli. She is such a beautiful baby! There are babies all around! We are due January 1, 2010!!!! So excited and can't wait for all the amazing experiences that come along with being pregnant! I am going to soak in every minute of it! Well that is the big update for us, hope all of you are doing fabulous!

I was really looking forward to mine and Zac's first NYE as a married couple and couldn't wait to get that first kiss in 2009!! Well, that is not how it happened! We a very uneventful NYE this year! I got sick the night before with that stomach bug that still seems to be making its rounds with everyone. So I was curled up on the couch and Zac got home from work and went straight to work on our plumbing that also decided to give us problems the same night I got sick! Something was backed up.....good thing I married a certified plumber!!!!!! hahahaha!!!!!!! So when he finally decided to give it a rest and try again the next day he was exhausted and I was still just watching the Rockin New Years Eve with Ryan Seacrest and Dick Clark! The next thing I know Zac is passed out on the couch from being so tired! The ball dropped at 11 our time and Zac is sleepin, so I decided we should just call it a night and try again next year!! I mean it was nice to be home with my hubby on NYE but just not the way I had imagined!

So since our first NYE was a bust we decided it was time to use our gift card we got for our wedding to Reata!!! That is actually where we had spent NYE last year was at Reata! They have such great food and atmosphere! It is romantic and rustic all in one! It was a date that was so overdue! Since we got married at the end of August it just seems like we have been constantly on the go with holidays or with Zac working. We haven't had much time to just ourselves so that is what we wanted!! We had a great time and when we were done eating we came home and spent the rest of the night playing our wii! We have become addicted I guess you could say, but it is a great way to spend time together and interact too!! So it was a great make-up from our NYE night!!! I am glad I made the reservations when I did so we could both enjoy the great food since I had been sick and then a couple nights after our date Zac got sick with the same thing, so now we have both had it and should now be in the clear! So now we are finally both healthy and Zac fixed the plumbing!!! I love my husband so much and I am so lucky to have a sweet, compassionate and supportive husband!

I finally did it, I landed myself a job!! I have been getting really frustrated lately with not having a job and feeling suffocated in our house. Don't get me wrong, I love to be home and do all the stuff around the house, but every day 24/7, it starts to wear on a person. We don't have any little ones yet so I don't have them to keep me busy so when I am done with the house work I find myself in front of the TV the rest of the day. Which is really not good for a person!! I have been feeling really disconnected with people and I really feel it is because I have become an unhappy person being at home. I know some people would love to trade place with me and I understand that but I can't take it anymore! I have recently started going back to the gym with my sweet friend Heather and that has helped with stress and my social life! But again that is only an hour out of my looong day! I guess I have been keeping this all in hoping that one day it would just go away, so it feels really good to finally get this off my chest!!

So now onto a better point of my blog!!! I landed a JOB!!!! It doesn't have anything to do with my degree but I am totally ok with that! I will be working at the Spine& Sport Therapy in Ft. Worth! I will be helping them get their office back in order and helping the office manager not be so overwhelmed since she just had a baby! I start Monday and will work MFW, so I still get 2 days off during the week and weekends! What more could I ask for!! The best thing of all is that I get to wear scrubs to work!!!!! I am so pumped and I know I will be a lot happier now that I will have a job and feel like I am contributing more for Zac and I! I will keep y'all posted about my first day of work!!! I can't wait to start!!!!! Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Getting Hurt on the wii fit....who does that!!!!

Hey all! Sorry I have not been on in a while! Not much is going on except for us being incredibly busy! In November I went to NY with my mom and sister and we had an absolute blast! We got our picture taken with the Naked Cowboy, if anyone watches the Today Show, you should know who he is! He was hilarious...We also saw The Little Mermaid on Broadway, it was amazing! The girl who played Ariel did an awesome job!

This was also our first Holiday to split up between our families. I think it went pretty well for the first time! We spent Thanksgiving Day with Zac's family and had a wonderful time with great company and yummy food! We then headed to San Antonio for Thanksgiving with my family! Again, it was a great time with great family and yummy food! My parents have had a wii and Zac and my dad finally put it up so we played the wii the whole weekend! It was so much fun till I stepped off the wii fit balance board and hurt my foot. Who does that, I guess I do, LOL!!!!! We had a great time though playing all the fun games! So I would say that we had a wonderful Thanksgiving and we have soo much to be thankful for!

It is now December and almost Christmas time! Christmas time is my favorite time of year! I am addicted to Christmas songs and could listen to them ALL day long!!! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by! We are leaving for Disney with my parents on Sunday and we cannot wait! For those who don't know, the last time we went to Disney we got engaged! So I wonder what will happen on this trip, hehehee!!!!! I can't wait to see everyone that is still there that I worked with when I did my internship there! Plus all the Christmas decor and the parades! It is going to be so much fun! I only wish my sister and brother-in-law could go with us! Well that is what has been going in our world! I will back after we get from Disney and with new pics!!!! Love you all!!!

My family has always been very important to me, but since I have moved I have a stronger appreciation for both my parents and my sister! When you are growing up and going through those awkward teen years and having the "just can't wait to go to college and get out" feeling, you really just don't know how well you have it. Well I left for a semester and then came home for a year and then tried to leave again and well ended back up in San Antonio. It seemed as much as I wanted to get out of San Antonio I always ended back there. As I have gotten older and matured my sister and I have become extremely close, we are 5 in a half years apart. She has taught me a lot and has always been there for me when times weren't so good. I hope she knows how much her friendship, guidance, love and faith in me really means to me. I am so thankful for God choosing her as a my sister and I couldn't have picked a better one! i am so happy she was able to be a part of mine and Zac's special day and was my Matron on Honor. She really is a blessing and I can't wait to spend a girls week with her and my mom in New York in two weeks!!

My parents are also very dear to me. They have always been there for and guided me in the right direction even when I didn't think it was the right direction. I hope they know how much they mean to me and how I appreciate everything they have done for me! We have had our rough patches but I think they only made us stronger as a family. I know they will continue to be there for as a married woman and will be there for my family when we start one! My dad is hilarious and is a Big Kid at heart and I think that gene got passed down to me! My mom is a little more reserved and very kind hearted and I love that she is that way and passed it on to my sister and I! I would like to think that I have a balanced mixture of both my mom and dad!! They are really great two individuals! Sorry this blog was super long but I had to brag about my wonder family!!! I love them more than they will ever know!!

Duke

Zac and I recently made an addition to our family! We bought ourselves a puppy! He is a miniature schnauzer and his name is Duke. He is the cutest and smartest dog, even though he would like to play dumb sometimes. I have wanted a puppy for as long as I could remember and my sweet husband finally made it happen for me. Zac works a lot and sometimes I just want the comfort of having someone else with me on those long days or weekends of work! He has definitely kept us busy and in a weird way has brought joy to us at the same time! We really do treat him as if he was our first kid! I guess you could say this is a trial run for us before we start trying to have kids! He has already learned how to sit and lay down and is doing really good by going to the door when he needs to go out to do his business. We love our lil family!

Hi everyone! I am new to this blogging, but it seems like a great way to keep in touch with friends and family and keep everyone updated with our life! Two months ago today, my best friend and I got married! My husband, Zac is very dear to me and I truly believe he is a blessing from God! We are enjoying married life and love the new adventures it brings us! We got married on August 30 and it was the most perfect day ever! Our sweet cousins Sarah and Landon set us up on a blind date, who knew it would be our happily ever after?! We are very thankful for them and their match making skills. They are very sweet and dear to us and we are so blessed to have such sweet and caring family.
